Possibilities of management of university professional formation as a cultural process in local communities (Original).

Abstract

The challenges of the university within the development experienced by today's society require rethinking the processes that are inherent to it. The globalization and universalization of knowledge and culture encourage the university to increasingly lean towards processes of internationalization of culture rather than towards the cultural problems of its environment. The dialectic between the universality and contextuality of culture is considered in this work as an essential source for human formation and for the development of localities. The study carried out in two doctoral investigations is taken as a starting point to assess the possibilities of viability in local communities, where the contextual is essential. The epistemological foundations of training and training management are exposed, which in essence constitute cultural processes. Also the essential features and qualities of professional culture, its appropriation and management in the local context, as well as a proposal for methodological instrumentation based on professional cultural training, from the training management of the professional culture that is generated in the university and that energizes the development of local communities.
