Theoretical references of the treatment of expressions of the intangible cultural heritage in the teaching-learning process of the history of Cuba in pre-university education (Review)

Abstract

The Cuban Revolution has placed education in the foreground. In numerous party documents, the need for knowledge of the History of Cuba is expressed, which is updated in the First Conference of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) (2012), in its objective 64, which raises the demand for "Perfecting education and the dissemination of the History of Cuba and the locality in the interest of strengthening national unity and promoting understanding of the origin and development of the nation, consolidation of our own thinking and the patriotic and cultural tradition of solidarity and internationalism of our people. " In the present work an analysis is made of the philosophical, psychological, didactic, sociological and anthropological foundations that support the treatment of expressions of intangible cultural heritage as historical content in the teaching-learning process of the subject History of Cuba in Education Pre-university The study of this important topic has a marked social interest, since it contributes to strengthening, from the teaching of the subject of History of Cuba, the historical education of the students, promoting the protagonism, from the link of the class with the context sociocultural and favoring an integral education; the foregoing denotes the need to address this problem from the Didactics of History to explore ways and methods that contribute to enrich the teaching-learning process of the subject of History of Cuba, according to the current needs of improvement and the perspective of the social development of the nation.
