This paper deals with the formation of the scientific culture in students of the major Mathematics and Physics. It oustands the potentials of the contents of the subject General Physics, steming from the universal and the contextual. It takes into account the essential elements of the general culture and of learning to attain the development of knowledge. skills and capacities as well as living habits and patterns of behavor. In such a way that the article intends to socialize these elements to energize the reference contents. It presentes a teaching-learning process with higher quality and better prepared students.
