The Knowledge Economy and its impact on the economic growth of Ecuador (Review).

Abstract

Underdeveloped countries seek strategies to get out of poverty, in recent years, Ecuador has estimated efforts to obtain quality education to develop research skills in human capital in order to change the productive matrix, through the generation of knowledge. The main objective of this research is to describe the main aspects of the Knowledge Economy and its application in Ecuador. In order to achieve the proposed objective, a documentary type bibliographic design methodology was applied, researching in different scientifically based sources (books, graduate works and journals) that allowed describing relevant aspects of this theory. It was developed through a theoretical analysis, based on several research questions that guided the study. The results obtained proved that this model is important for the preparation of human talent to become a generator of knowledge, innovator and creator of new technologies that contribute to improve the production of goods and services, improving the country's income and the welfare of society.
