Historical Analysis of the Teaching of Speaking in English Language. (Review)

Abstract

Teaching oral communication is a challenge for teachers in the area of language teaching. One reason may be because in most cases the student has no way of practicing this language ability outside of the English class. That is why; getting the student to communicate is a great responsibility for the teacher who must have a series of skills to facilitate the development of oral expression. This article deals with a historical analysis of the teaching of this ability in English in Cuba; it aims to make an analysis on the behavior of teaching oral expression in English. In order to carry out this research, theoretical methods were used such as historical logical and analysis - synthesis. It was very useful, as it favored the teaching-learning process of the English language.
