A look to the comprehension of the journalistic text in the university education

Abstract

The developments of the technologies of the information and communication have marked the improvement of a variety of the text of different nature that is transmitted thorough secular media and are present in the most complex format, among then use find the journalistic text. The present work addresses a current problem of the teaching-learning process of the mother tongue, related to the insufficiencies in the didactic treatment of the journalistic text, which limit the understanding of its meanings in the students of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Education degree. In consequence with the above, teaching activities are proposed for the didactic treatment of the journalistic text, so as to favor the understanding of its meanings. This topic constitutes a priority in the training of this specialist, given the need to prepare them as efficient communicators of the Spanish language, capable of interacting with texts of diverse nature.
