Currently, education systems face the challenge of using information and communication technologies to provide students with the necessary tools and knowledge. These are the educational innovation of the moment and allow significant changes to be made in the teaching-learning process. They are also significantly transforming education, as well as the way of teaching and learning. Students are motivated and their interest increases when interacting with the resources of animations, videos, audio, graphics, texts and interactive exercises that reinforce understanding and integrate traditional content. The research was carried out at the State University of the South of Manabí, in the majors of the Technical Sciences Faculty, in which the need to use technological tools in teaching was manifested, since they develop the creativity and autonomy of the student body . The methods and techniques used favored the development of the research, giving the necessary guidelines to know the level of use of these tools in the classes. The results achieved in the research were determined with the validation of the questionnaire, which allowed to identify the degree of use of these technologies. It was concluded with the importance of incorporating these tools in teaching to develop skills and knowledge that society requires today.
