Environmental Education for Climate Change and the Task Life in the Biology Major. (Review)
Keywords:
environmental education; climatic change; task life; adaptationAbstract
Since the twentieth century, the concern to environmental problems has increased, generated largely by human action, such as: the indiscriminate felling of forests; the contamination of water reservoirs and the atmosphere; the loss of biological diversity; the destruction of the ozone layer; among others, in intimate relation with social, economic and political problems. At present, these problems and others caused by climate change continue to get worse. In this sense, strategies have been proposed in various scenarios to reverse the situation and safeguard life on the planet, which is reflected in the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for development correspondingly, the country has projected a group of actions strategic to contribute to a prosperous and sustainable development, more responsible with the protection of the environment. To this the university responds to educational proposals related to adaptation to climate change, enhanced in the study of biodiversity in the school context, which are the result of the investigative work of the authors. It is objective to offer experiences in the implementation of the State Plan "Task Life" from the management carried out in the municipality or locality of residence or in the professional field in which it operates. These results have been integrated not only into the Curricular Strategy of Environmental Education for the integral formation of the future professionals, but also to the postgraduate and in diploma courses, socialized in different events.
