The demotivation in History classes is visible not only in students, but also in some teachers, as the role of History in identity is not perceived; History is taught in traditional ways; it was revealed that teachers do not make an adequate selection of methods and ways of managing the teaching-learning process; there are teachers who do not have sufficient knowledge of historical sites and monuments in the locality; or is contextualized only within the classroom; lack of teacher creativity; low use of teaching tours as a methodological resource; observing the skills for critical and self-critical reflection of knowledge, among others; however, the present study will address how to use the teaching tour to increase the motivation of students in the teaching process learning History of the 1st cycle in secondary education, the aim is to design a methodological resource for the use of the teaching tour to increase motivation of students in the 1st cycle of Waku-Kungo Secondary Education. To achieve the objective, theoretical and empirical methods are used, which make it possible to systematize the theoretical foundations of the theme; determine the dialectical integration between the instructive and the educational; Characterization of the current state of use of the teaching tour as a didactic resource to raise the students' motivation in the process of teaching History learning; from it he designed a methodological resource for the use of the teaching excursion to increase the motivation of the students in the 1st cycle of Secondary Education in Waku-Kungo, Municipality of Cela, Province of Cuanza Sul.
