Abstract

The present work was carried out in the “18 plantas” organoponic of Bayamo, a national reference in the winter period of the year 2021, specifically from December 4 to December 26, with the objective of evaluating the yield and quality of the Black variety lettuce. Seed Simpsom when applying Piroleñoso Acid and Quitomax. For this, three 30 m long and 11.25 m wide beds were selected and divided into three equal parts with a separation between the divisions of 50 cm, executing the following treatments on a random block design with three treatments and three replicates: 1.- Treatment 1: Application of Pyroligneous Acid foliarly 7 days after transplanting (DDT); 2.- Application of Quitomax 7 days after the transplant in a foliar manner; 3.- Control treatment, 7 days after the transplant, water was sprayed. The following variables were evaluated at harvest time: Plant height (cm), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), leaf mass (g), yield (kg m2) and an economic analysis was performed. To evaluate the data obtained, the statistical package STATITICA, version 10, the Analysis of Variance of double Classification and a multiple comparison test of means by Tuckey for a significance level of 5% were used. The results demonstrated the positive effect of the two evaluated bioproducts with a yield of 2.95 and 3.36 kg m2 in Pyroleño Acid and Quitomax respectively.
