Abstract

In an increasingly globalized world with complex socio-educational contexts, it is essential to have a teaching staff that is not only technically competent but also ethically committed. In this sense, teacher training in the 21st century faces unprecedented ethical and axiological challenges stemming from the increasing integration of digital technologies into educational processes. This implies that teacher training faces the challenge of clearly integrating the axiological and ethical dimensions, thus preparing professionals who can lead educational processes with a transformative vision of the context. This analysis focuses on the importance of ethics and axiology within teacher training programs, suggesting a framework for building values that support a critical and emancipatory educational practice. A systematic review of the specialized literature was conducted, consulting databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and Dialnet, focusing on publications from the last 15 years on Ethics in education, Axiology, and pedagogical training. A significant gap has been identified between what is said about the importance of values and their actual integration into teacher training curricula. Teacher training must move beyond a technocratic approach and adopt a perspective that fosters ongoing ethical reflection. The creation of a shared professional axiology, centered on social justice, empathy, and responsibility, is essential for achieving genuinely transformative educational practice.
