Abstract

Paulo Freire predicted “(…) that the old that preserves its validity that embodies a tradition or marks a presence in time, continues to be new”. This prophetic vision stands as a guiding compass for the study that is presented, because in the forerunners of prominent Latin American pedagogical personalities that are essential premises that set guidelines for the development of advanced pedagogical thinking. This article reflects on the epistemological imprint that underlies accurate predecessor observations, the foundation of the inescapable articulation between educational supervision and permanent training of managers and teachers in the current Cuban and Latin American context.
