Abstract

The present work was carried done in “Las Quemadas” farm belonging to the Agroforestry Company “Ataque a Bueycito” in Buey Arriba municipality, specifically in Granma province, in the wet benefit centers of Limones and Bernabé, during the postharvest stage of the coffee crop (2016/11/3 to 2016/12/25). Two wet technologies were evaluated and the coffee variety used was (Coffea Canephora) in a Pardo mountainous soil without carbonate, using the investigative analytical method and the photochroming technique. The results revealed that the technology of ecological benefit showed better performance compared to traditional technology. Ecological technology reached higher parchment coffee grain quality, with less damage caused by the machine 0,1 %, lower drying time 5,42 days, also the total imperfections 4,56 % in addition to the consumption of water and of fuel with values of 0,5 L·46 kg-1 and 0,054 L·46 kg-1 respectively and lower economic expenses of 1,41 and 2,70 pesos.
