In this research, the teaching-learning process of Mathematics at the basic level, is defined by two areas of difficulty in students: inequalities in the previous education and the difference in the level of understanding and application of knowledge of Mathematics Basic; This makes it difficult for teachers to work, since they do not have a homogeneous level of knowledge of the students. The work presented has among its objectives, serve as a means to unify the basic mathematical cognitive level in Mathematics of students who continue their studies, as well as those who depending on the specialty they are studying will face the study of disciplines of Higher Mathematics and Applied Mathematics disciplines. The use of theoretical, empirical and statistical methods allowed for the systematization and the logical-historical study of the development of Mathematics, as well as to penetrate into its harmonious logical-abstract system, capable of integrating itself into the complex system of scientific-technological knowledge defined by other sciences (natural, technical, social), that when using the theories and the methods of the Mathematical one, pose to her new problems that stimulate their study, whose solutions contribute to the harmonic development of all the complex system of scientific knowledge. The contribution of this work can be used as text by teachers and students in Basic Mathematics courses in schools, as well as deepening courses in the bachelor
