Vocational pedagogical guidance to mathematics at Cuban military schools (Original).

Abstract

Vocational pedagogical guidance is a process that has been investigated by various authors in different periods, therefore it demands the convergence of shared efforts to achieve the guidance of a future professional aware of their role in society. The determination of needs allows us to assert that vocational pedagogical guidance has been limited by the lack of attention to the topic at the Camilo Cienfuegos Military School in Villa Clara, the insufficient motivation and preparation of students to face decisions that affect their future employment. The initial diagnosis revealed a lack of orientation towards the Mathematics Education degree. Therefore, a proposal of activities was developed with the aim of contributing to a better vocational guidance. The proposal provides essential elements to a large extent, to improve and enhance the work on the influences that exist in vocational guidance towards the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education. The objective results of the assessment of the proposal through a pre-pedagogical experiment demonstrate its effectiveness, as the outcomes improved after the implementation of the activities.
