Abstract

The study explored the impact and implications of artificial intelligence in higher education. The importance of this research lies in understanding how artificial intelligence is transforming educational processes and improving the learning experience for both students and teachers. The main objective was to analyze how artificial intelligence optimizes the personalization of learning, improves administrative efficiency and prepares students for the globalized labor market. The methodology used included a mixed approach in which quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed. Surveys were conducted with students and teachers to evaluate the perception and effectiveness of the use of artificial intelligence in higher educational institutions. The main result revealed that artificial intelligence has proven to be highly effective in personalizing learning and improving academic performance. Students positively valued the adaptability of the educational content and the instant feedback provided by intelligent systems. However, ethical and practical challenges were identified, such as equity in access to these technologies and the need for ongoing training for educators. Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize higher education by offering advanced tools that improve educational quality and prepare students for a dynamic work environment.
