Bronchial asthma is considered a health problem, by its high frequency, its economic impact and repercussion in life quality. The objective of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the sublingual immunotherapy with allergenic extracts of Valergen mites in children with Bronchial Asthma sensitized in the University Policlinic “Juan Miguel Martínez Puentes “,from the north health area from municipality Sancti Spíritus, between February 2019 and February 2021. A development research, with a quasi-experimental design of therapeutic intervention in 25 patients (between five and 15 years) who were sensitized to Valergen allergenic extracts was made. These patients were attended in the Allergology consultation in the University Policlinic “Juan Manuel Martínez Puentes”. The recommendations of the manufacturer were followed. The effectiveness of treatment was evaluated after a year of treatment. Clinical and sociodemographic variables were included. Results were expressed in absolute and relative frequency and methods of statistical significance were applied too. The major frequency was in male sex (76 %), the age between five to nine years (44 %) and associated to allergic rhinitis (40%). Dermatophagoides siboney mites prevailed with 12 patients. Cutaneous reactiveness decreased (77, 7%) (p=0.012). The male sex prevailed and the most affected ages were between five and nine years. The association with allergic rhinitis and the sensitization to Dermatophagoides siboney prevailed. There were an improvement of the symptoms in more than a third part of patients.
