Intervención's strategy to decrease the pregnancy in adolescence (Original).

Adolescent pregnancy has become a serious concern for various social sectors, specifically for health, due to the higher incidence of unfavorable results, the implications of abortion or the adverse consequences that the event has on the adolescent and her relatives. The objective of this research is to develop an educational intervention program to enhance knowledge in adolescents about the prevention of pregnancy at this stage of life, in the CMF San Pablo de Yao in the Buey Arriba municipality, in 2016. The research is prospective descriptive type. . The initial information was collected through an informed consent. The results of the study are presented in tables and the percentage calculation was used as a summary measure. The predominant age found in the investigation was between 14 and 19 years, the female sex predominates and in general they have a low level of knowledge on the subject. The educational intervention program allowed adolescents to enhance their knowledge about pregnancy at this stage of life, making it possible to increase their perception of risk by being able to act with knowledge of the facts.
