Abstract

This research article is built from the implementation of a didactic procedure to favor a closer approach of the Basic Secondary student with the local biodiversity, using the biological teaching excursion in its variant of excursion to nature or practice field, as a form of organization of the teaching of Biology. The educational experience was pertinent, effective and is satisfactorily validated by the students from the applied instruments (observation and surveys). Likewise, it contributes to the interdisciplinary connection between the contents of the natural sciences and other subjects such as History.
