This research addresses a problem of great social significance: the teaching-learning process of orthographic content referring to different uses of the comma punctuation mark, which implies knowledge about lexical, textual, ortological, orthographic and grammatical norms. The proposal has a novel and creative character, it is flexible in terms of its application at the corresponding educational level. It is based on the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach. It allows the reflective and timely pedagogical practice of activities that favor the solution to the insufficiencies declared in the written report. For its implementation, theoretical, empirical, statistical methods were used, as well as the consultation and analysis of the specialized literature that guarantee the collection of theoretical information on the subject under investigation.
