Conceptual basis for teaching subjects associated with the management of construction projects. (Review)

Abstract

The process of training students for careers in architecture, civil and hydraulic engineering, graduates in education-construction and short-cycle careers related to these specialties, include a set of subjects associated with the management of construction projects as part of their curricula in the E curriculum at Cuban universities. Today project management is approached in a fragmented way from business, construction and economics sciences. To do this, surveys were conducted with 84 students and teachers who identified the complexity in a comprehensive perspective of this area of ​​knowledge. The importance of scientific research was also evidenced; the practical experiences of this type of management by the student; together with those of the community or social environment. As part of the learning, the previous elements help to a general formation endorsed by the values ​​and skills to be acquired. Said considerations pose as the general objective of this article, to socialize the bases of a specific didactics for the management of construction projects through the management of the nuclei of knowledge and the stages of the investment process in a complementary way. These aspects contribute to the advancement of the development of constructive investments from what to do, contributing to the improvement of the performance of these construction professionals.
