The work consists of a case study of the effect of the combined use of Catosal, Vigantol and Tonofosfan on the reproductive behavior in Brahman cows as an alternative to improve their efficiency. The objective of the case study was to evaluate the combined effect of the use of Catosal, Vigantol and Tonofosfan on the reproductive behavior of Brahman cows in the Aurora farm of Cantón Jipijapa, Manabí province, Ecuador. Statistical, explanatory experimental techniques and methods were used, carrying out a completely randomized design, consisting of the application of a combined treatment of Catosal, Vigantol and Tonofosfan in a group of 15 primiparous Brahman cows with body condition between 4 and 6 in the 9 point scale. A second control group received saline solution as a placebo, made up of 15 cows with similar characteristics to the experimental group. Both groups were subjected to the same management conditions, they always remained in the same pasture fed with Guinea grass (Panicum maximum) water ad libitum and natural mounting regime, and the date of their last calving was monitored, both in the control group and the experimental group. The main results demonstrated the positive effect of the treatment in the improvement of the behavior and reproductive efficiency in primiparous cows of the Brahman breed in the farm under study, highlighting the decrease of the first service calving indicator to an average of 75 days with a high significant difference (0.1%) between the observations of the control and experimental group.
