Methodology for the treatment of mathematical culture during initial teacher training

The development of mathematical culture allows the teacher of this specialty to acquire valuable arguments to turn his teaching into a pleasant adventure, enriching the cultural heritage of his students. In the present article, a methodology to dynamize the integration of the dimensions that structure the mathematical culture during the didactic treatment of the mathematical knowledge system is presented for the readers' consideration. Analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, modeling and descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The elaborated methodology takes advantage of the genetic and structural relationships that, with disciplinary and interdisciplinary character, occur between mathematical and non-mathematical cognitive systems, in order to favor the mathematical culture in the students of the specialty from the teaching of mathematical disciplines.
