Use of animal traction in the cultivation of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L) (Original)

Abstract

The work was developed in the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (UBPC) Antonio Maceo belonging to the Agricultural Company Paquito Rosebushes Benítez of Veguitas, municipality of Yara, oriental county of Granma, Cuba. With the objective of it compares three cultivation works among arrays with animal traction in the cultivation of the bean, by means of the use of the plow No 1 and the farming of three and of five organs of works, all them of animal traction. Having as a result that the T2 was the one that reached the biggest productivity for hour of clean time (WTP), operative (W02), productive (W04), time without shortcomings (Wt) and exploitation (W07). The biggest depth in the work achieved with T1 (17.50 cm), while with T3 the biggest work width was reached (92 cm) and use of the work was width (β). The biggest work speed reached with T2, with 2.80 km h-1 for a use of the speed of work of 92 %. The height of the plants you behaves better T2 and T3. With T3 it was reached the shafts of grosser (12.32 cm). The treatments T2 and T3 reached the lowest direct expenses of exploitation
