Abstract

The present study analyzes the tourist offer and its contribution to the development of the Puerto Cayo parish. The methodology used was documentary analysis with a diagnostic nature and focused on the collection of existing data in files of the Ministry of Tourism and local governments to diagnose the current tourist situation of the parish, through a detailed inventory of the main resources. tourist. The study findings provided a comprehensive view of Puerto Cayo's tourism potential and its ability to boost the well-being and development of the community, through employment generation, infrastructure improvement and cultural preservation. However, the study also identifies important challenges, such as the need to balance tourism growth with environmental conservation and continuous improvement of infrastructure, diversify tourism offerings, foster public-private collaborations and improve marketing strategies to position Puerto Cayo as a prominent tourist destination.
