Fidel Castro's conception of history: its importance in the training of future educators (Original).

Abstract

In this article, the reader is presented with several aspects related to Fidel Castro's conception of history. The didactic value and its impact on the civic education of future graduates of the Marxism-Leninism and History degree were taken into account. New routes of thought and action were explored that allowed a critical approach to certain problems specific to the training context with an identity approach. In this sense, the establishment of causal relationships between current phenomena and past events was promoted, which allowed us to signify the role of history as a generator of citizenship and as an instrument of social action for the exercise of duties and rights. citizens in the construction of the historical present in everyday life. The dialectical-materialist method was used as a general research method, together with the theoretical methods of analysis and synthesis, historical-logical, inductive-deductive. In this direction, a bibliographic and descriptive review of the various authors who address the aforementioned topic from different perspectives was carried out. The theoretical reflections that were the object of argumentation fostered new perspectives that led to an enhancement of the aforementioned conception, which redefined the methodological value of said reflections and evaluations.
