Abstract

With the approval in September 2015 of the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the signatory countries assumed an important group of commitments in the economic, social and environmental areas. Two years after the adoption of Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, the State Plan is approved for confronting climate change Cuban society known as Task Life. The implementation of this State Plan began emphasizing its sectorial, territorial dimension and its close relationship with the international agreements assumed. The main objective of this article is to analyze in a preliminary way, the distinctive elements of the connection between the Life Task Program and the SDGs taking into account the international situation and the convergence with the country's public policies. In general, it is evident in an initial approach, the relationships of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals with the policies to confront climate change in Cuba.
