An approach to the motivation of light mentally retarded teenagers in the municipality of Cauto Cristo.

Abstract

The current article is based on the result of a study with light mentally retarded teenagers of the Special School Nolberto Ramirez of the municipality of Río Cauto. During the investigation methods of the theoretical level were used: analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive and the revision of documents that allowed the bibliographical revision, the historical analysis and the current situation of the problem under analysis, of the empirical level, such as observation and interview, as well as the technique of the ten desires. The work lead to determine the causes that conditioned the lack of motivation in the students and to design the strategy that allowed to increase their motivation.
