Bucal health as an educational component in sports. A review of the most relevant aspects

The work focuses on a review on the significance of the oral health care for athletes and coaches as a determining factor in the sporting result. The poor state of oral health may lead to a deficiency in the levels of competitive, which is common the occurrence of muscle fatigue and poor response levels that occur in athletes due to the formation of substances such as prostaglandins and other anti-inflammatory response elements that are induced by different types of microorganisms which invade the oral cavity that accumulate in the joints and generally decreased in response mechanisms of muscle fibers. The oral health care is a directional line sports medicine today as a way of ensuring athletic performance.
