Abstract

The family as an object of research is not an abstract category but a historical one, its life and its forms are conditioned by the prevailing economic and social regime and by the character of social relations as a whole. The study of the family has been approached by different sciences based on the particularities of each one of them and their specific interests. In this monograph we present some of the theoretical foundations that support the role of the family and it influence in education.
