Abstract

The researched topic synthesized the study and application of practical experiences about the project-based learning method as a facilitator of the integration of contents, their generalization and transfer in real learning contexts, which was intended towards the formation of professional competences in the selected specialties, towards the professional performance of the future medium technician and skilled workers and towards the generation of benefits through the use of good practice methodologies that allowed raising the quality of theoretical-practical learning, as well as executing community service provision tasks. In this sense, the objective of the article was to present the stages and phases for the elaboration of an educational project for learning by doing community service provision tasks. This learning, based on the formation of professional competences and on the generation of benefits that act as a contribution to the development of the community environment, contributes to solve the research problem posed. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used, which made it possible to verify the existing difficulties and to make partial and final evaluations of the fulfillment of the objective, the transformations and impacts achieved. The educational project facilitated the planning and execution of work and teaching activities, in correspondence with the specific objectives proposed, based on the diagnosis and preparation of the participants, as well as the follow-up, the control of the expected results and the preparation of reports, as each stage was developed.
