Intertextual reading: an effective way in education for health and quality of life (Original)

Abstract

Intertextual reading as an effective way to improve health education and improve the quality of life, constitutes a research that responds to the project "Linguistic and literary education in the initial training of the Bachelor's Degree in Education. Spanish-Literature and Foreign Languages. English". This article, the result of this study, aimed at proposing activities for the improvement of health education and the improvement of quality of life, using as a fundamental tool intertextual reading and analysis of literary texts in order to favor the modes of action in the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Education. In order to fulfill the objective, theoretical and empirical research methods were used and, in addition, the integral systemic analysis method of the artistic work was used, which allowed updating the study and projecting it towards the valuation of the literary discourse, making it possible to deepen the essence of literature teaching and the place of literary analysis, revealing the use of intertextual reading that favors the dialectic interrelation of the literary text with other texts and cultural processes in favor of its teaching. As a main result, activities were offered to develop the work with the chosen literary texts that function as instruments for the achievement of the proposed objective.
