Abstract

The main focus of the work consists on design a first-generation anaerobic system to treat the solid wastes generated in the UEB Cárnico Bayamo, and the biogas production. As methodology of design was used the designing sequence of the fixed dome bio-digesters of the GBV type, which was drawn using the software SolidWorks 2014. With this system an adequate alternative is intended to generalize of sustainable and cost-reducing way the biogas production in the factories that process meat. For the design, the data of the animal’s slaughter between the years 2011 – 2014 were used, in order to determine the quantity of organic solid matter that daily is generated in the factory. Like proposal of the work, 2 bio-digesters construction of 47.5 m3 are necessary, obtaining that a daily biogas volume value of 15 m3.
