Cultural management for behavioral transformation in adolescents of Barranca de la Lizana (Original)

Abstract

The need for a social development in which the potentialities of culture are exploited from the community perspective, requires the articulation of different processes of cultural development, in order to achieve a harmony where the increase in the quality of life of the people residing in these communities is a priority. The objective of this article is to present a system of actions as part of a cultural management project for adolescents of la Barranca de la Lizana in the municipality of Bayamo, with the participation of community actors of the demarcation of the Popular Council, as well as youth and pioneer leaders of the territory. The qualitative and quantitative paradigms were used; the combination of both guaranteed a research harmony with an adequate scientific level that made possible the conformation of a conceptual theoretical body and a methodological instrument that contributed to the conscious and effective coordination. The main contribution was constituted by a system of actions whose essential thesis was the promotion of the patrimonial values of this historical site, which made possible the participation of adolescents in the development of a healthy and educational recreation, in the affirmation of the feelings of belonging and in the defense of their culture, from an active and conscious participative dynamic. In addition, changes were brought about in the existing community reality in the demarcation, tending to raise the quality of life and the quality of life in the community.
