Abstract

This paper is focused in the mathematical pattern and the simulation in an appropriate software of the operation of an heat exchanger, leaving of a brief introduction of concepts tunes to the same one, then the equations are analyzed that model this dynamic system.  

We analyze the differential equation of first order that models the behavior of the heat exchanger of shell und tubes, we will simulate the non-lineal equation and we will observe their behavior with regard to two entrances of answer type step, then we will apply him the one transformed of Laplace and with the help of deviation variables to obtain a lineal equation to obtain its transfer function and to make a file denominated simulacion.m to be run with MATLAB and finally to show the graph of the behavior of the heat exchanger, checking that its design fulfills the necessary technical specifications and it is feasible to pass to the production  stage.
