Analysis of the General Pedagogical Training discipline: pedagogical proposal at the Abreus Municipal University Center (Review)

Abstract

The article makes a critical assessment of the program of the discipline General Pedagogical Training, of the career Bachelor of Primary Education, Curriculum E, corresponding to the course by encounters, from an analysis of the pedagogical work carried out by the professors of the Abreus Municipal University Center, who teach the subjects of this discipline in this career. This took into account the levels of systematics of the career, discipline, subject and year; in the curriculum design, theoretical-practical aspects and experience in professional performance. The results endorse a proposal with a logical and integral approach, articulation of subjects, and the knowledge system is constituted as the basis for the formation and development of skills and values. It was considered an extension to the profile of the professional graduate of the Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, adapting the didactic-methodological concept to the course by encounters from the recognition of potentialities and needs; then, the contribution is assumed in the quality of education and its relationship with scientific-technical advances, corresponding to the positive aspects and those that must be modified according to the current socio-economic and cultural conditions.
