Preparation for scientific publications is an imperative as research activity constitutes an unavoidable sphere of professional performance, given such contemporary social demands on professionals in general, with an emphasis on health, who are required to have advertising skills for the effective socialization of their results in their professional activity with a vision of the future for effective health leadership. An initial diagnosis was made to determine the initial state of such preparation in the period January - May 2021. With the diagnosis and the investigative experience of the authors, an insufficient publication of scientific results associated with a deficient self-management of socialization of investigative results and poor accessibility of advertising media in the province was identified, evidence of a contradiction between the advertising reality of professionals of the Health sector in Guantanamo and the social demand to use the management of scientific-technical information for the publication of research results, proposing the objective of designing a strategy for scientific publications of health professionals from Guantanamo in Editorial UDG Editions. In the article the essential characteristics of the designed strategy are exposed and it is explained how the scientific research preparation and the evaluation of the quality of the publications are taken into account, within the process for its execution, considering its objective fulfilled according to the results here exposed.
