Abstract

Inside the electric power system some electric distribution transformers are lightly loaded most of the time, this alone it is translated in the worsening of the power factor and therefore the increment of the electric power losses. In this paper is carried out the analysis of three banks of transformers as for the state of load of these, levels of losses that cause and as a result of the same one the substitution of the same ones is evaluated by others of smaller capacity.
