The constant transformations of the new society, conditions the incorporation of a systematic intervention of orientation to the educational world and to the labor context. As well as in the educational process, orientation acquires its greatest connotation as a decisive element in the formation and development of the personality of students. The creation of new and diverse fields of work activity that contribute to development demand help and advice for decision-making in the selection of the profession and the work activity of individuals. The writing, through the analysis of articles and doctoral thesis, aims to assess the relationship and importance between the categories orientation, education, development, training and learning whose primary function is to prepare man in all aspects of the personality.
