Abstract

We assume pedagogy as a science with an integrating function of the rest of the educational sciences and other knowledge, for which the need to deepen its categorical system becomes increasingly evident. It is unavoidable to delve into transcendental issues that have been significantly marking teaching in Cuba. In this sense, we emphasize the understanding of fundamental categories, all seen both in their own dimension and in their interdependencies. To this are added other specific circumstances, where, due to the development that we have achieved in education, there has been an increase in empirical knowledge that, when generalized, could constitute foundations to enrich the theory and, therefore, strengthen the practice.
