Abstract

Education is a complex social process that is historically determined, which, while reproducing the cultural heritage accumulated by the human being, must be transformative in order to contribute to social well-being, which is why it is essential in the formation of men and women who will have the future of humanity on their shoulders; enables new generations to be consistent with the historical legacy that has preceded them. In the current moments of improvement of the National Education System, the process of family education and its incidence in community coexistence in adolescents of the Secondary educational level occupy an important role. This research is inserted among the studies carried out in Cuba with that purpose. The diagnosis made of the current situation at this level of education has revealed the scientific problem that motivates this research: inadequacies in the conception of the family counseling process, limit school, family and community coexistence in adolescents of the Basic Secondary education level. It has the general objective of arguing the theoretical references that support the process of family education and its impact on community coexistence in adolescents at the Secondary educational level. The population for the study is made up of 215 families of the 9th grade in the ESBU ”XXX Anniversary of the Battle of Guisa of the Bayamo municipality, being sampled a representative of each one of the families of the 9th group of the referred school for a total of 36 families.
