Why do Cuban companies need to use a Balanced Scorecard? (Review)

This work aims to show the importance for Cuban companies, the implementation of a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to manage their strategy and consequently achieve their goals using it as a work tool. Before getting to the concepts of Balanced Scorecard, a brief review will be made about Strategic Management and how it, in current times, requires innovative tools to maintain competitiveness and achieve the success of the company. It begins with these concepts since there is a very intimate relationship between the company's strategy and the Balanced Scorecard, since the latter translates the strategy into objectives that are measured through indicators and these indicators, precisely, respond to the strategy designed by the company.
