Measurement of the impact of Agricultural Companies on municipal security (Review)

Abstract

The present work has as objective to elaborate a proposal of indicators that allow to measure the impact of the agricultural companies in the municipal alimentary security, starting off to realize a study of different methodologies and indicators for the measurement of the alimentary security, based on the indicators of monitoring of food security of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). In order to carry out the work, the Dialectic-materialist method, Analysis and synthesis, Systemic-Structural-Functional, Documentary Analysis, were used as fundamental methods. The work has an introduction that addresses aspects of food security in Cuba and the world, a development that contains the proposed methodology that comes to constitute the expected result of this research and finally includes conclusions where issues related to the positive, negative, barriers, challenges for the more detailed elaboration of the methodology in question.
