Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is a degenerative disease caused by the understanding of the spinal cord, which can affect the structures and functions of human systems, organs and tissues and have a negative impact on the quality of life of the patients. Patients, but that can reach a significant improvement with the application of physical exercises planned, oriented, dosed and controlled systematically, after the surgical process that requires. However, there is little literature to the respect. For this reason, a case study was carried out at the National Rehabilitation Center "Julio Díaz" Hospital, in Havana, Cuba, where the objective was to: contribute to a rapid functional recovery of patients with post-operative CSM with the use of physical exercises. We used the theoretical methods analytic-synthetic, deductive inductive, historical-logical, systemic approach, and empirical methods, review of documents and measurement made to patients. As a result, improvement was achieved between 85% and 95% of the motor responses of the key muscles after the physical exercise program was applied to the patients, which demonstrated its relevance. It was concluded that the application of the physical exercise program in a larger sample of patients could corroborate its efficacy for the rehabilitation of patients with CSM.
