Abstract

This article offers a didactic alternative for the development of the coordinative physical abilities of Field Hockey (H/C) athletes. In the research carried out at the Eide "Pedro Batista" of Granma with the hockeistas of the category 13-15 years, various methods were used: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, systemic-structural-functional, observation, analysis of documents, pedagogical tests; as well as, the survey and the statisticians-mathematicians. Based on the results of the characterization of the process of physical preparation in S/C Hockey and the development of the physical capacities of the hockeistas, the didactic alternative was designed that is based on the philosophical, pedagogical, didactic, biological, psychological, sociological and sports training foundations. It was conceived through theoretical systematization and the application of the system approach; and can be used by teachers or sports coaches in the teaching-learning process of physical preparation in S/C Hockey in all other categories and in hockeistas from the results of the initial diagnosis and making the relevant methodological adjustments.  Specialists agree that the didactic alternative designed is applicable, relevant and will favor the development of the coordinative physical abilities of Field Hockey athletes.
