Abstract

This article is the application of a strategic matrix, widely used in business contexts, to direction school sports equipment Baseball categories. As population was used to Granma team sub-15 years category involved in the various phases of the National School Games starting in January 2016. The instrument allowed the determination of the most developed factors (strengths) and weaker than with the equipment. Similarly the opportunities and threats in relation to the opponents and the competitive environment. This enabled the development and implementation by coaches and athletes strategies to build on the strengths of the team and the nullification or protection as appropriate, to negative. SWOT Matrix provided quality information for decision-making more consensus which affected the whole sports team competitive results under study.
