Abstract

The objective of the review was to inform the studies that deserve to be practiced in the specific periodization for the volleyball. The ball training of the specific periodization for the volleyball was structured according to the characteristics of the volleyball game (it has a defined sequence during the execution of the skills), according to the efforts of the skills and according to the level of injury of the skills. The scientists need to study the skills during technical training and in-game situation training through of the heart rate, of the electromyography response, of the VO2 kinetics, and of the metabolic demand. Sports scientists need to research the level of injury of each skill when the coach structures the technical training and the game situation training according to the values of injuries of each skill. The physical training is performed with an emphasis on strength training usually accompanied by ball training during the technical training and in the game situation training through of the intermittent training of maximum intensity. So, sports scientists deserve to compare what type of physical training develops the more the conditioning motor capacities, through of the integrated training of the physical with the ball versus the separate physical training. In conclusion, the specific periodization for volleyball requires a number of scientific studies to become a globally applied model in volleyball teams.
