Abstract

English language teaching has evolved significantly in the past recent decades, driven by technological progress and research in pedagogy. This review article aims to collect, analyze and discuss information from recent scientific literature on new pedagogical and didactic techniques that facilitate the acquisition of English as a foreign language. Innovative approaches such as project-based learning, the use of digital technologies, gamification, and collaborative learning are examined, as well as their impact on student motivation and performance. Finally, recommendations for the effective implementation of these techniques in the classroom are presented.
