This work is the result of a Master's research paper intended to design a system of didactic games that favor the development of fine motor skills for pre-writing in children of the pre-school grade at Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán Primary School in Yara municipality. The diagnostic study applied showed that there are difficulties in the tracing of features. That allowed establishing a close relationship between the limitations presented by the educational process of pre-writing in the preschool grade and those presented in the development of fine motor skills in the tracing of features, in children of this educational institution. Therefore, a system of didactic games was designed and applied, based on the following traces: straight, straight with change of direction, curved and curved with change of direction. Several research methods were used, among theoretical ones: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and systemic-structural and functional; of empirical nature: observation, interview, pre-experiment and within statistical ones: descriptive statistics. The design of the system of didactic games to exercise fine motor skills demonstrated its level of effectiveness through a pre-experiment that evidenced the quality of its theoretical- methodological conception.
