This research is based on concepts related to the social aspects of elements that refer to the behavior of language, focusing on the correspondence between the fictional and the real. This is a bibliographical research and the objective is to make an analysis of the communicative context addressed in the book on blindness, written by José Saramago, establishing a scientific evaluation of the similarity between the representative strand of behavior in community, portrayed in fiction, with its symbology, verifying the present analogies and their projections for reality.
